A Trailer and Two Helpers
January 3rd, 2008.
The old trailer side panels were falling apart and desperately needed some care. Juan and Genaro took care of that and they did a very good job. The trailer looks like new again.

But it's not for a very long time (i.e. looking new)... it's really tough working around the farm, for the trailer as well as the helpers. The trailer got to transport the feeder to the field through tough, muddy, stump-full track; the helpers got to hold the feeder tight while being shaken in a no-suspension trailer, plus some mud shower. Laughs and a torn tire ended the day. Pictures can also be viewed in Hal's gallery (click here).

New Year Day at the Farm
January 1st, 2009.
Walking through the brushes and cut-down trees along Crooked Creek on new year day. Ended the first day of 2009 with a bowl of spicy black eyed pea by the fire. More pictures at Hal's Gallery (click here).
