Hal shot the biggest hog we've ever seen around here.

Thinking of taking the piglet for a walk, Hal got it a harness and trained it to get used to it.

Water went up to the two green gates.

One More Hog

April 18, 2009.
Three hogs were rooting at the clover field this morning. Hal found out when he just got up and shot them in his bathrobe. He got it right at its vital organ with a new gun that has just been calibrated. It's being butchered as this post uploading. Now I need to check out a good brining recipe to make good home smoked bacon, ham, and all.. :D
