First met them in Singapore, they are from Bandung. Visited them in SF in 2002 and today in Albany (just across the Bay Bridge from SF).

Christmas Eve dinner at Tra Vigne. Robert Mondavi white wine was amazing. Cheese custard, oyster, rabbit ragu in sage infused pasta, and seven spiced chicken were "money".

I went visit Lulu (high schoolmate, from Cicendo, Bandung) in her San Jose home and had late lunch at Los Gatos (15 minutes from SJ). Since high school graduation, almost 20 years ago, we've met again 3 times... in Singapore and now in San Jose.
