Blue Birds

The bluebird has laid 1 egg in the bluebird house. 

As of Mar 25, four eggs have been laid in the nest (i.e. one egg a day). Observed Papa Bird chased away 4 bigger, dark colored birds from the nearby trees.


Another bluebird is almost ready to fly, just need some balancing acts.

EXTERIOR

The icebox was bought as an antique by Ann around 30 years ago from Canton First Monday trade days.  We repainted it with Porsche-red color and gold plated its hardwares.

Historical Coincidence

January 20th, 2009.

The kitchen remodeling kicked off at the same day of Obama's inauguration, January 20th this year. Coincidentally, the kitchen's "BEFORE" pictures in the above postings were taken on January 20th the year before!

Aretha Franklin was singing "My Country 'Tis of Thee",

while Hal hammering down the drywall by grandfather's clock.

Obama took oath,

while Hal was ripping off the kitchen cabinet behind the TV wall.
