Why Bodega Bay?

Before “Jaws” was even a dream the hundreds of birds found in Bodega Bay were not the usual subject of horror films. Certainly the film animals that inhabited horror films were not intelligent with an ability to act in unison. Alfred Hitchock’s brilliance wove those disparate themes together for his groundbreaking horror film, “The Birds.”

Fresh Crab but No Fresh Crab

They claim to have FRESH COOKED CRAB. We stopped by just to find out that they DON'T have fresh cooked crab... only crab cake and crab sandwich. November 11, 2007.

Bodega Bay

The largest community at the Sonoma County coast. We had late lunch at Seaweed Cafe where most of the food comes from within 30 miles of the restaurant. It was ok. No crab though! Should've gone to Lucas Wharf or The Tides, the best-known restaurants in Bodega Bay... maybe next time.
