Poultry on the Patio

Chickens get too comfortable around the patio.

but sometimes he falls behind on the job.

The Timber Frame Project: The First Logs Delivery

Labor Day 2010, September 6.

Cody, our tree service man, came with
3 big logs (2 oaks, 1 pine) from his job site.

The Background Story
Batesville, AR, August 2-5, 2010

Timber frame bunkhouse of Bobby Wade, Hal's friend in AR.
Made from scratch, timber from his own wood
and / or logs given by friends.

The first storey used as barn, tool and equipment storage,
and utility rooms.


Part of the second storey: Workshop.


Part of the second (or is it 1.5 storey?): the living quarter,
then a bedroom above it, at the same level as the workshop.

The Equipments

Bob's Timber King sawmill.


Hal's Timber King sawmill,
purchased from Bob's friend while we're in AR.


A week later, Bob delivered the sawmill to Texas with his 2 grandsons
and gave lessons on how to use it to Hal.
