The Color of Wurstfest

It's the 50th Wurstfest of New Braunfels, Texas. The festival always starts on the Friday before the first Monday of November. The German culture mixes with Texas style fun brings out black-red-yellow (German's flag) and red-white-blue (Texas' flag) hues everywhere around the festival ground.
Tour de Gruene

Tour de Gruene is held in Gruene twice a year, in March and October. The steep sloping roads around the area with beautiful rivers and lake is perfect for this bicycle race event.

This is where we stay, Gruene Mansion Inn Bed and Breakfast, at the heart of Gruene Historic area, New Braunfels, Tx. (Gruene -a German word- is pronounced "green" and it means "green" or "become green").
